Amy first started doing Pilates in 2007 while working as a computer scientist and practicing classical ballet in Amsterdam. She love it so much and went through Polestar Pilates Mat Certification in 2009.

In 2012 Amy moved to Costa Rica and traveled to Miami, Florida  to get comprehensively certified by Power Pilates. Eager to learn more about the method, she sought out Lolita San Miguel and graduated from her Master Mentor Program becoming a Second Generation Master Instructor and Legacy Educator in Costa Rica.
